Executive Team

Vinay is the Founder & Chairman of Mercury Group of Companies which is a global diversified provider of Business Intelligence, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Mobile software solutions using emerging trends like Cloud Computing and high end technology platforms.

Works closely with venture capitalists and banks to ensure financing of Mercury operations while providing strong leadership to day to day operations.

Acts as a consult and trusted advisor to clients making recommendations on technology solutions that solves business problems.

Architected and directed the development of several of the largest and most successful business intelligence systems in the world as a BI Solutions Architect at Oracle Corporation (1997-2003), McKnight Associates (2003-2005) and Mercury Software Consulting, Inc. (2005 to date) and has experience establishing more than 20 business intelligence programs.
Certified business intelligence professional (CBIP) by the Data Warehouse Institute and a certified Oracle DBA.

MS Degree from the University of Wyoming, over 17 years of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence industry experience.

Vinay Balasubramanian Kumar’s Specialties:

Subject matter expert in Manufacturing, Retail, Higher Education, Health Care, Internet Technologies and Life Sciences. Subject matter expert on Relational databases, Information Management Systems and Enterprise Architecture Strategy across leading technology platforms including Microsoft, Oracle and IBM.

With over 10 years of experience in the IT industry serving as Project Leads & Client Coordinators,at various Fortune 500 Companies across US, Europe & India he understands the nuances of Onsite-Offshore Delivery Model.In charge of IT Services, he understands what the Clients needs are, what exactly they are looking for and structures the team & project at optimum. He was instrumental in setting up the Offshore Base for Ciber Inc.'s Boston area Clients which included Retail, Finance & Manufacturing sectors. Prior to working at Ciber, Inc, he was with iGate Global Solutions for 5 years where he was involved in various Data Warehousing Projects for Insurance, Retail & Healthcare Clients at Germany, France & US.

With his Six Sigma Green belt Certificate & vast experience in implementating various Quality & Security Standards he architects Mercury's Quality roadmap.

Under his inspiring vision, leadership and exceptional abilities, Mercury India grew in
strength and ability and created an enviable employee friendly environment.
Unassuming with a quiet determination, Mathew is a known motivator and with an excellent understanding of human dynamics.

Mathew recieved his Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology.

Mahesh Venkatraman Iyer(Director Operations)

Mahesh Iyer has more than 20 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry. He has held various positions as senior management in Technical Services, R&D, Sales & Marketing before joining Mercury. He is responsible for the oversight and management of the day to day operations at Mercury.
